About The Role
Leads and/or supports sales training and Commercial Learning & Development (L&D) strategic plan projects, including new hire sales training, annual plan of action cycle training, and product/disease state training. Designs and executes tactical sales training projects, identifying and assessing training needs and delivering engaging learning solutions.
Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Creates and implements training tactics supporting brand and L&D objectives
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized training plans/tactics
- Assists and/or leads design and delivery of training programs, workshops, eLearning modules, and other learning solutions
- Monitors and evaluates training effectiveness; recommends and makes adjustments to improve outcomes
- Ensures operational/tactical execution of the new hire training program and curriculum
- Partners with stakeholders to analyze learning needs, opportunities, and challenges to optimize execution
- Partners internally to evolve training approaches, tactics, and curriculums
- Obtains approval for training materials via promotional review; follows SOPs and ensures compliance with regulatory/legal requirements
- Designs and delivers training across in-person, virtual, on-demand/self-paced, and microlearning formats
- Acts as project manager for tactical training execution (agency management, timelines, budget, and PRC reviews)
- Manages relationships with strategic partners and vendors to deliver on time and within budget
Requirements
- BS/BA in business or technical field AND 6+ years pharmaceutical sales experience required, including 1+ year internal pharmaceutical sales training (or equivalent). Prior experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts required OR
- Masterβs degree preferred AND 4+ years relevant experience OR
- Product launch experience preferred; CNS/psychiatry/anti-psychotic and/or long-term care experience a plus; sales management a plus

- Experience in sales and training
- Ability to travel up to 30%
