Field Reimbursement Manager (Upstate NY/Western PA)

Role: Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) responsible for optimizing patient access for Axsome's CNS therapies through payer education and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities: educate healthcare providers and staff on payer policies, support prior authorization and appeals, develop relationships with customers, collaborate with Managed Markets and Sales teams, and stay current on payer landscape; conduct virtual and in-person engagements, manage territory activities, and ensure compliance within legal and regulatory frameworks. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), 8+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical account management, with at least 2 years as an FRM or RAM, preferably with neurology experience; proficiency in pharmacy benefits, payer segments (e.g., Medicare Part D), and managing multiple tasks under dynamic conditions. Preferred: CNS experience, cross-functional collaboration, launch experience, and ability to manage extensive travel (50-75%).
