Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) provides specialized in-office support to HCPs within a designated territory, addressing patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators and/or office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, access/reimbursement tools, and services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Provide resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Deliver localized expertise on national/regional payer policies (coding changes and claims submission methodology).
- Coordinate with AbbVie Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access.
- Establish/maintain provider relationships within the territory.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ immunology experience, or access & reimbursement experience with market access/payer account management expertise.
- Strong territory/strategic account management; leadership record.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain coding/billing requirements (Medicare Parts A, B, C, D).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and lead without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Driving required: valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
