Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) within a designated territory, addressing patient access and reimbursement inquiries related to AbbVie’s immunology portfolio. Provides expertise on coverage, reimbursement challenges, utilization of AbbVie support tools, and education on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (bio coordinators and/or office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Educate resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Provide localized expertise on national/regional payer policies (coding changes, claims submission methodology).
- Collaborate with Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers in the territory.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access & reimbursement with expertise in market access and payer account management.
- Exceptional territory/strategic account management skills; leadership record.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent oral/written/presentation and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to communicate technical coding/billing requirements at the national/regional level (Medicare Parts A, B, C, D).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and lead without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Driving personal/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
- Position grade 18 or 19 depending on experience/skills.
