This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Territory includes Charlotte, NC; Wilmington, NC; Raleigh, NC; Charleston, SC (and surrounding areas).

Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) functions as an in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) in a designated territory. Responsibilities include engaging HCP offices on patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio, providing expertise on coverage/reimbursement challenges and utilization of AbbVie support tools, and educating on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (bio coordinators and/or office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Provide resources and strategies to address patient access issues.
- Deliver localized expertise on national/regional payer policies, including coding changes and claims submission methodology.
- Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access account teams.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers in the assigned territory.
- Maintain current knowledge on managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement with market access and payer account management expertise.
- Exceptional territory/strategic account management abilities.
- Proven leadership record in current role.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of coding/billing requirements at the national and regional level across Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D (or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks related to reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead without authority.
- Grade 18 or 19 depending on qualifications/experience/skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to drive personal auto or company vehicle; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
