The Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) within a designated territory. The FRM engages HCP offices to address patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio, providing expertise on coverage, reimbursement challenges, and the use of AbbVie support tools, and educating on patient prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators and/or office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools and services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Educate on resources and strategies to address patient access issues.
- Provide localized expertise on national and regional payer policies, including coding changes and claims submission methodology.
- Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers in the assigned territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement with expertise in market access and payer account management.
- Exceptional territory and strategic account management abilities.
- Proven leadership record in current role.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of coding and billing requirements (Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, and associated reimbursement dynamics).
- Understanding of rules, regulations, and risks related to reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead without authority.
- Grade 18 or 19 (based on qualifications/experience).
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to drive a personal auto or company vehicle (or powered material handling equipment) and maintain a valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
