Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) functions as a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) in a designated territory, addressing patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio; provides expertise on coverage, reimbursement challenges, and use of AbbVie support tools, and educates on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators and/or office staff) on patient support programs, access, and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white/brown/clear bagging).
- Provide resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Deliver localized expertise on payer policies, utilization management criteria, and medical billing/coding and claims submission methodology.
- Coordinate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center on prescription status and eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Build and maintain provider relationships in the territory.
- Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in immunology, or access & reimbursement expertise with market access and payer account management.
- Expertise in drug acquisition/dispensing in specialty biologics (Buy and Bill, reimbursement analysis, specialty pharmacies/distributors).
- Territory/strategic account management skills; leadership record.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate coding/billing requirements (Medicare A/B/C/D or Medicare and reimbursement dynamics).
- Knowledge of rules/regulations and risks for reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and lead without authority.
- Grade 18 or 19 (based on qualifications/experience); Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
- Driving a personal or company vehicle or powered material handling equipment.
