This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. Geography includes Marietta, Rome, Dalton, Dahlonega, and surrounding areas.

The Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) within a designated territory. The FRM engages HCP offices to address patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio, providing expertise on coverage, reimbursement challenges, and use of AbbVie support tools, and educating on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators/office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs and access/reimbursement tools.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, bagging types).
- Provide resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Provide localized expertise on national/regional payer policies and utilization management criteria, including medical billing/coding and claims submission methodology.
- Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Establish/maintain professional relationships with providers in the territory.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access/reimbursement expertise with market access and payer account management.
- Expertise in drug acquisition/dispensing in specialty biologics (Buy and Bill, reimbursement analysis, specialty pharmacies/distributors).
- Exceptional territory/strategic account management abilities.
- Proven leadership in current role.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to communicate coding/billing requirements across Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D.
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and lead without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Driving personal auto/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment.
