Field Reimbursement Manager

Role: Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) responsible for optimizing patient access and reimbursement processes for Ascendis Pharma's specialty therapies in rare diseases and oncology. Key responsibilities include providing expert education to healthcare providers on coverage, prior authorization, and appeals; building relationships with providers and payers; analyzing payer trends; guiding specialty pharmacy operations; collaborating with internal teams to develop access strategies; and resolving reimbursement issues. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in health-related field or equivalent; 8+ years in healthcare or biopharma, with substantial reimbursement experience supporting specialty pharmaceuticals and biologics; in-depth knowledge of US payer landscape, prior authorizations, and specialty pharmacy models; strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; experience supporting product launches and navigating complex therapies. High-value biopharma specifics: focus on rare diseases and oncology treatments, supporting product access in US payer environment, with strong emphasis on compliance, patient confidentiality, and healthcare laws. Work setup: field-based with regional travel required; role involves cross-functional collaboration with Market Access, Sales, and Patient Support teams.
