Field Reimbursement Manager - Chicago, IL

Role: Field Reimbursement Manager supporting patient access for Ardelyx's gastroenterology products. Responsibilities: establish relationships with healthcare providers, patient services, and payers to facilitate timely access; educate HCPs on prior authorization and appeals; resolve coverage challenges; leverage HUB and specialty pharmacy networks; monitor access trends; serve as subject matter expert on payor policies and affordability solutions. Qualifications: BA/BS with 6-9 years in field reimbursement, patient services, or market access within pharma/biotech; 3-5 years as a field reimbursement manager; deep knowledge of medication access channels, specialty pharmacy, and insurance processes (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial); experience with GI products or providers preferred. High-Value: reimbursement expertise, specialty pharmacy, health insurance (Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial), GI therapeutics, field-based role, up to 75% travel.
