Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) responsibilities:
- Educate on BOTOX treatment fundamentals, reimbursement, and the payer landscape.
- Identify and analyze access/reimbursement barriers; uncover root causes delaying proper treatment.
- Monitor and update Region and National payers (medical policy changes, prior authorization requirements, product acquisition).
- Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders (Market Access, Center of Excellence, Sales, Marketing, Training, Compliance, Trade, Specialty Pharmacy).
- Provide customer feedback on approval/access barriers and recommend solutions.
- Educate accounts on patient access tools (HUB services, patient savings programs, payer coverage details, acquisition pull-through initiatives).
- Build relationships with HCPs and business decision-makers; lead without authority and influence cross-functionally.
- Participate in Field Input Teams; plan, prioritize, follow up, and anticipate problems.
- Follow all internal and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 5–7+ years success in a health care related field; Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred: sales, district management, hospital, managed markets, access/reimbursement, or practice experience; Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
- Exposure: physician-administered injectables; CPT/J-code reimbursement; specialty pharmacy & Buy & Bill acquisition; benefit verifications, prior authorizations, claim assistance/appeals; payer policies; HUB services.
- Payer experience: Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Commercial, Medicaid.
- Strong verbal/written communication; problem solving, gain access, resource mastery, tangible results, overcoming adversity, collaboration, managing complexities; empathy/critical thinking/curiosity/persistence/reliability/resourcefulness.
- Technology/analytics (Salesforce, Excel, reporting); valid driver’s license; adequate territory travel.
