Job Summary
- Field-based Oncology Medical Director providing therapeutic area/product expertise for designated Oncology customers.
- Educate integrated customers (National/Regional Payers, Specialty Pharmacy Providers) on clinical and economic impact of Oncology medicines.
- Support customer decision-making and population health through real-world data analyses, pharmacoeconomic analyses, outcomes evaluations, and medical presentations.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Oncology Medical strategy and compliant customer engagement in territory; coordinate with other Pfizer colleagues.
- Contribute to Medical content strategy and aligned Field Medical tactics based on Oncology Medical Affairs priorities.
- Maintain effective communication/collaboration across HQ Medical, Medical Information, and Field Medical.
- Deliver expertise via live/virtual presentations and written/phone/virtual communications.
- Compliantly integrate clinical, Health Information Technology (HIT), market, and account considerations to develop and execute customer projects/collaborations/non-interventional studies to improve quality and outcomes.
- Serve as Oncology Medical lead for assigned customers; develop and execute a Medical account plan.
- Apply study design/methodology/data analysis principles and communicate with customers.
- Engage stakeholders (QIOs, advocacy groups, coalitions, medical associations) to align with Pfizer Oncology objectives.
- Provide HIT support (assessment, triage, feasibility, clinical relevance); analyze workflows to reduce care gaps and improve efficiencies.
- Facilitate clinical content development using IT to build tools/resources; provide e-data collection expertise.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design/deploy HIT solutions and support new product/indication launch resources.
- Represent Medical Affairs leadership with professional associations; enhance recognition via collaborations/publications.
- Provide approved medical content focused on organized customers.
- Stay current on medical/scientific developments; respond to scientific and pharmacoeconomic requests to advance formulary decisions/patient outcomes.
- Coordinate outreach for high-priority sites; manage a significant volume of field-based projects and prioritize in continuous improvement.

Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in health science.
- Experience: 10+ years (bachelor’s); 8+ years (master’s); 7+ years (terminal degree).
- Experience in clinical/formulary/management; managed care/pharma/quality improvement; or data analytics/HEOR with strong study design and health services research methodology.
- Significant payer/organized customer interaction.
- Excellent oral/written communication; strong interpersonal skills and conflict management.
- Leadership capability to influence/collaborate and create business impact.
- Strong analytic skills; ability to clearly communicate complex scientific information.
- Well-organized and flexible; ability to travel; valid US driver’s license; located within 2-hour drive of major airport.

Work Location/Travel
- Remote – Field Based; travel flexibility potentially 40–50%.
