Field Medical Outcomes Director (Oncology) — Remote (Field Based)
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Oncology Medical strategy and engagement for assigned integrated customers (e.g., National/Regional Payers, Specialty Pharmacy Providers).
- Provide objective, scientifically sound medical information using pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, HOPEs, non-interventional studies, and collaborations.
- Develop and implement Real World Evidence-based outcomes tools and educational programs to improve patient care, close quality gaps, and support population health.
- Serve as Oncology Medical lead: build/execute Medical account plans, represent Medical Affairs, share customer insights, and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Apply expertise in study design, data analysis, and interpretation; communicate with customers.
- Engage stakeholders (e.g., Quality Improvement Orgs, advocacy groups, coalitions) to align with Oncology Medical objectives.
- Support and guide Health Information Technology (HIT) initiatives (assessment, triage, feasibility, clinical relevance) and analyze workflows to reduce care gaps and improve efficiencies.
- Lead/enable e-data collection planning for field colleagues; support HIT solutions and launch resources.
- Provide approved medical content; keep abreast of scientific/medical literature and competitive landscape.
- Coordinate for selected high-priority U.S. sites as a single Pfizer point of contact to support site partnerships and enrollment.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in health science.
- Relevant experience: 10+ years (BS) / 8+ years (MS) / 7+ years (terminal degree).
- Experience in clinical/formulary/management; managed care and/or quality improvement; data analytics and/or HEOR (study design, data analysis, interpretation in health services research); interacting with payers/organized customers.
- Excellent oral/written communication; strong interpersonal skills; leadership and analytic skills; strong scientific comprehension/clarity.
- Ability to travel (including overnight); operate a company car and regularly fly; located within 2 hours of a major airport; potential 40–50% travel.

- Annual base salary range: $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20% (Global Performance Plan); eligibility for long-term incentives; comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching, retirement contributions, paid leave, and medical/dental/vision coverage.
