Field Access Manager-IBD- OK, AR, KS & MO

Role: Field Access Manager responsible for optimizing patient access to Takeda’s therapies within the South Central territory (Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri). Objectives include serving as an educational resource for healthcare providers, addressing reimbursement and access barriers, and fostering strategic collaborations to ensure timely therapy access. Responsibilities involve delivering tailored reimbursement education, building relationships with providers and healthcare organizations, and supporting internal teams with access expertise. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in account management, sales, or medical affairs, with strong knowledge of reimbursement landscapes and practice management. Preferred experience includes 5+ years in patient services or reimbursement roles within biotech or pharma, familiarity with specialty/high-cost therapies, and healthcare policy understanding. Travel up to 75% is expected, with the role being field-based and territory-specific. The position emphasizes engaging with provider groups, hospitals, and specialty pharmacies to improve patient journeys, particularly for therapies that are high-cost or require complex reimbursement strategies.
