Field Access Manager IBD/EoE (Michigan))

Role: Field Access Manager within Takeda's Patient Access team, focusing on improving patient access to therapies for GI indications. Responsibilities include providing education and strategic support to healthcare providers, hospitals, and specialty pharmacies to navigate reimbursement and access challenges; building collaborative relationships to resolve access barriers; and enhancing internal team capabilities through targeted education. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years in account management, sales, or medical affairs with strong knowledge of reimbursement landscapes and practice management; excellent communication skills; experience in healthcare policy or market access preferred. High-Value: Focus on GI therapies, chronic or acute care, with emphasis on reimbursement strategies, specialty or high-cost therapies, and understanding of buy-and-bill or pharmacy models. The role is field-based, requiring up to 75% travel within Michigan, including Detroit. The position reports to the Regional Director, Patient Access, GI Central, and emphasizes proactive, strategic engagement to support patient journeys and therapy access.
