Responsibilities:
- Lead Factory of the Future (FotF) and Lab of the Future (LotF) transformation vision and execution by integrating automation, IoT, AI, robotics, digital and data acquisition technologies across manufacturing and laboratory sites worldwide.
- Develop and sustain FotF teams and Industry 4.0 continuous improvement initiatives; build, deploy, and upgrade digital technology best practices.
- Drive Lighthouse use case implementations and value capture.
- Create and govern networking roadmaps/LRP in alignment with Site Directors and VPs.
- Perform cost/benefit analyses; manage strategic planning and project management to enable transition to a more efficient, technologically advanced factory environment.
- Oversee IoT solution implementation; align IoT initiatives to business objectives; ensure secure, scalable IoT ecosystem.
- Leverage IoT for operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct change readiness/culture assessments; lead teams to build and implement digital/data visualization work products.
- Convert business needs into technical requirements; interpret analytics/models to solve business problems.
- Connect digital transformation efforts across workstreams to meet timelines and milestones; manage work plan, weekly status reporting, issue/risk control.
- Establish communication with key decision-makers; lead and coordinate pursuit.
- Coordinate Smart Factory technology use cases to deliver annual savings and performance improvements (asset utilization, OEE, labor optimization, quality, cost reduction, customer satisfaction).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, supply chain, or related field (desired).
- Preferred: Master’s in business administration/logistics/materials/supply chain; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or lean leader certification (or equivalent) (desirable).
- 30+ years preferred: progressive experience leading operations strategy, roadmaps, and digital transformation of global manufacturing sites.
- Demonstrated ability to develop teams for Industry 4.0 and sustain FotF teams.
- Strong financial aptitude and cost/benefit analysis skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication; influence decisions across all organizational levels.
- Strong computer skills (email, virtual meeting systems) and project management/facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving/judgment skills; ability to drive transversal change (“influence without authority”).
