Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate integration of automation, IoT, and AI into manufacturing and laboratory processes; lead strategic planning and project management for a technologically advanced factory environment.
- Develop vision and lead execution of Factory of the Future (FotF) and Lab of the Future (LotF) transformations across worldwide manufacturing and laboratory sites.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Quality leadership to build cohesive strategy and implementation plans.
- Lead team development and continuous evolution of next-generation technologies; define standards, best practices, governance, and Lean-based technical expertise (secure, scalable, sustainable).
- Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives, including Lighthouse use cases and value capture.
- Create and support FotF teams; develop networking roadmap and LRP governance/alignment.
- Perform robust cost/benefit analyses.
- Oversee IoT solution implementation; ensure secure, scalable IoT ecosystem and align initiatives to business objectives.
- Enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making using IoT.
- Assess culture, performance, and change readiness; lead teams to build and implement customer-facing digital/data visualization work.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements; connect digital transformation workstreams to milestones and timelines.
- Manage digital transition work plan, provide weekly status reports, and control risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, supply chain, or related field.
- Preferred: MBA; Six Sigma (green/black belt) or Lean leader certification (or equivalent).
- Progressive experience leading operations strategy, roadmaps, and digital transformation of global manufacturing sites (30+ preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain FotF teams; strong financial aptitude.
- Strong communication, computer, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills; โinfluence without authority.โ
- Experience/understanding of big data, AI/ML, IoT, and cybersecurity.
- Coordinate Smart Factory technology use cases to deliver annual savings and performance improvements (OEE, labor, quality, cost, customer satisfaction).
