Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time and in-full delivery of products for CMOs/External Suppliers; track EST KPIs and drive continuous improvement (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery).
- Maintain a psychologically safe, high-performance team culture.
- Manage products/CMOs operationally and financially; oversee activities per contract guidelines (MSA & QTA) and provide routine technical support.
- Build collaborative relationships with external partners/suppliers (CMO, CLO, Material Suppliers) and internal partners (GSC, MSAT, Legal, procurement).
- Serve as first-level negotiator for financial liability for failed/rejected lots (with procurement).
- Plan and implement life cycle management projects, including resource and financial planning.
- Execute CMO Management governance: run meetings, document decisions/actions, ensure correct attendees, and align internal stakeholders.
- Represent EMPT in Industrial Product Teams and Technical Product Team.
- Adhere to the Risk Management Program; identify/evaluate/document/communicate risks impacting quality, compliance, supply; develop remediation plans for products and GxP operations.
- Monitor CMO inventories with Supply Chain; assess risks and provide proactive remediation.
- Ensure compliance via quality governance forums; deliver Quality System records on time.
- Maintain expert knowledge of product processes for CMOs/External Suppliers; identify SMEs and vet process changes for acceptability/impact.
- Execute CMO projects with CMO organization and EM&S business partners.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations/Manufacturing Management or related field + 10+ years OR Master’s degree + 8+ years.
- Operational experience required (ideally product or functional team manager).
- Data management understanding and IA digital products.
- End-to-end product & industrial strategy experience.
- Strong analytical skills; exposure to budgeting/forecasting.
- Ability to set/monitor KPIs and manage performance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Drug substance operations experience (strongly preferred).
- Project/program management experience (extremely helpful).
- Biotech/pharmaceutical industry working knowledge (highly preferred).
