Position Summary
Join Acadia as an Executive Neuroscience Sales Specialist (field-based) delivering compliant education and support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in your territory, building trusted customer relationships, and executing business plans to achieve sales objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet/exceed sales objectives using market data and quarterly action plans
- Build relationships with HCPs (including KOLs) and healthcare stakeholders
- Handle customer questions/objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills
- Tailor approved sales aids, clinical reprints, and brand resources to customer needs
- Partner cross-functionally (managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing) for coordinated solutions
- Advise on pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution; act as liaison for access-related issues
- Track/report sales activities, expenses, and customer interactions
- Represent the company at conferences and meetings as required; participate in trainings
- Mentor/train new sales specialists; contribute to cross-functional projects

Knowledge & Expertise (Required/Preferred)
- Deep understanding of neuroscience disease states, Acadia products, and local/regional market dynamics
- Trusted resource to the medical community
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms (Zoom/WebEx)
- Strong grasp of payer dynamics (Part D; specialty pharmacy/hub distribution)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (life sciences preferred)
- Sales experience: Sales Specialist 3 years (1+ year pharma/healthcare; neuroscience preferred); Sr. Specialist 8 years (2+ years complex/account-based); Executive 12 years (3+ years complex/account-based)
- Advanced selling skills, leadership/business acumen
- Proven ability influencing diverse HCP audiences
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills
- Independent, adaptable, high-results
- Reside within territory (or within 30 miles); valid driver’s license and acceptable record
- Travel for driving/overnight stays; air travel as needed
- Must comply with vaccination requirements for HCP access and conferences

Physical/Other
- Regular standing/walking/sitting; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; ability to reach/climb/stoop/kneel/crouch and maintain communication

Salary Range
- $124,000–$155,000 USD
