Position Summary
The Neuroscience Sales Specialist achieves sales goals in the assigned territory by building customer relationships, delivering compliant product education, and driving appropriate patient access.

Primary Responsibilities
- Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement information.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; meet/exceed sales objectives using market data and quarterly action plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with HCPs (including key opinion leaders) and advocacy/healthcare stakeholders.
- Handle questions/objections using advanced selling skills.
- Tailor approved sales aids and clinical/brand resources to customer needs.
- Partner cross-functionally (managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing) for coordinated solutions.
- Advise on pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels; act as liaison for access issues.
- Track/report sales activities, expenses, and customer interactions.
- Represent the company at conferences/trainings; participate in required meetings.
- Mentor/train new sales specialists; contribute to cross-functional projects.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences preferred.
- Sales Specialist: 1–2 years healthcare/pharma sales (neuroscience preferred).
- Senior Specialist: 5+ years healthcare sales (2+ in complex/account-based).
- Executive Specialist: 12+ years healthcare sales (3+ in complex/account-based).
- Advanced selling, leadership/business acumen; influence diverse HCPs.
- Strong communication/negotiation; independent, adaptable.
- Reside in territory (or within 30 miles); valid driver’s license; meet travel needs (up to 80%).
- Comply with vaccination requirements for HCP access/LTC facilities/conferences.

Skills/Expertise
- Deep neuroscience disease-state knowledge and local market dynamics.
- Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom/WebEx).
- Payer dynamics (Part D; specialty pharmacy/hub distribution).
