Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior Hepatology subject-matter expert in MASH and related metabolic liver diseases; provide authoritative medical guidance and help shape global medical strategy by identifying evidence gaps and driving data generation.
- Advise Commercial and Market Access teams on initiatives requiring medical expertise in compliance with regulations; build relationships with top thought leaders and partner with MSLs.
- Participate in Corporate Advisory Panels.
- Provide strategic medical input for Phase 4 and post-approval studies with Clinical Development leadership.
- Advise HEOR to ensure scientific relevance and credibility; collaborate on a prioritized real-world evidence agenda.
- Serve on the Publication Strategy Review Team (PSRT) to ensure scientific integrity/accuracy.
- Support Investigator-Initiated Study (IIS) strategy and governance with medical review and strategic input.
- Serve as a senior Medical Affairs representative on the Medical Product Team (MPT) and as a primary medical partner to cross-functional program teams; ensure medical accuracy and relevance across materials.
- Review and provide input on Custom and Standard Response Medical Information documents.
- Advise the Medical Regulatory Committee (MRC).
- Plan and conduct advisory boards with Medical Strategy; provide brand team input when needed.
- Contribute to field medical team training; provide clinical mentorship and development.
- Foster scientific excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within Global Medical Affairs.
- Ensure activities comply with SOPs/industry standards/regulations and uphold ethical standards.
Required & Desired Qualifications
- Hepatologist (MD/DO or equivalent) with clinical experience in MASH.
- 15+ years pharmaceutical (or related) industry experience.
- Deep knowledge of the changing US healthcare environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong scientific/clinical acumen; thorough understanding of US compliance guidelines for pharmaceutical/field medical roles.
- Highly ethical with a strong compliance record; ability to lead through change.

- Travel up to 25%.
