Executive Director, Total Rewards

Role: Executive Director, Total Rewards at a neuroscience-focused biopharma company, leading the design, implementation, and governance of competitive total compensation strategies (base, bonus, equity, benefits) in the US and Canada. Responsibilities: oversee base salary and incentive programs, manage equity offerings, ensure regulatory compliance, develop employee recognition programs, and lead benefits strategies; collaborate with leadership, HR, Finance, Legal, and external advisors; support Board interactions and compensation governance. Requirements: 15+ years in progressive compensation/HR roles within public, multi-national life sciences organizations, preferably in pre-commercial and commercial phases; deep understanding of biopharma business models, data systems, and global regulatory standards; strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills; undergraduate degree (MBA preferred).
