Key Responsibilities:
- Support the TA Strategy Head in developing and updating a holistic Therapeutic Area (TA) strategy for Oncology & Hematology to drive sustainable growth (short, mid and long-term).
- Apply pharmaceutical industry and Oncology/Hematology TA knowledge to derive differentiating competitive advantages.
- Provide early-phase commercial insights to R&D project teams; US in-market experience is critical.
- Analyze reports and publications to extract key messages, including building product forecasts.
- Deliver TA-specific external strategic insights to identify growth opportunities, emerging competitive challenges, and third-party views on key levers; commission targeted primary research.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required; PhD/MD/advanced life science/healthcare degree and/or equivalent experience; MBA or consulting experience highly preferred.
- In-depth TA knowledge (or proven ability to acquire it rapidly) in Oncology and/or Hematology.
- Highly agile; ability to support multiple strategic disease areas within a TA and multiple internal/external programs.
- Substantial experience evaluating new product opportunities (M&A, BD&L, internal research programs).
- 7β10 years industry pharma and/or medical devices experience in R&D and/or commercial functions, including conducting/commissioning/analyzing primary research.
- Experience with strategy development and asset shaping early in lifecycle (any functional perspective).
- Recent (post-2015) local US in-market experience working with US customers and US healthcare systems.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary expected: $248,500β$461,500 USD/year; includes performance-based cash incentive and potential annual equity awards; comprehensive benefits and time off for US eligible employees.
