Position Summary
- Own, shape, and communicate the enterprise risk portfolio within Strategic Risk Management (SRM), ensuring strategic, operational, and emerging risks are identified, quantified, prioritized, monitored, and communicated to inform executive and Board oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the enterprise strategic risk portfolio across strategic, operational, and emerging categories; define prioritization, concentration views, and trade-offs aligned to risk appetite.
- Lead enterprise risk identification, quantification, and monitoring across macro/micro horizons; integrate qualitative/quantitative inputs; use analytics/scenarios/indicators for foresight.
- Serve as the focal point for emerging risk intelligence; translate weak signals into implications for strategy, operations, reputation, and resilience; incorporate into the portfolio in a disciplined way.
- Advise executive leadership and governance forums on risk implications, trade-offs, and decision options; provide challenge on risk posture/tolerance/prioritization.
- Own portfolio-level risk governance standards (taxonomy/definitions, thresholds, escalation); lead Board/Executive-ready reporting and maintain the enterprise risk narrative.
- Lead and influence a lean, high-impact team; influence across functions without direct authority.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s required; MBA/JD or equivalent preferred.
- 15+ years’ experience in enterprise risk, strategy, analytics, or senior advisory.
- Strong synthesis of complex information into strategic insight; exceptional judgment and executive-level communication.
