Specific Responsibilities Include
- Portfolio Strategy: Oversee cardiometabolic, obesity, MASH, and inflammation portfolio strategy; optimize legacy inline diabetes brands.
- Alliance Management: Lead commercial stewardship and joint governance of strategic Bayer alliance.
- R&D Partnership: Provide commercial leadership with R&D to optimize PDT global brand strategies, development plans, and Phase 3/late-stage launch readiness.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead Global Commercial team; integrate marketing, policy, GMAx, Clinical, and V&I into integrated brand strategy with key markets for value evidence, rapid/broad access, launch readiness, and customer-centric model.
- Business Development: Partner with R&D and Corporate Business Development to identify growth opportunities and evaluate CV/metabolic and inflammation targets.
- Early Asset Commercialization: Incorporate metabolic/inflammation commercial insights with Early Development leads.
- AI, Digital & Analytics Innovation: Drive AI/digital innovation; optimize analytics and tactics for consistent local execution.
- Access & Policy: Identify policy levers to support portfolio access.
- Supply Chain Alignment: Collaborate with Manufacturing on short/long-term supply chain decisions.
- Value Evidence: Align real-world evidence plan with pipeline/portfolio priorities.
- Team & Culture Building: Build inclusivity and challenge the status quo to improve outcomes.
Education Minimum Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MBA preferred
Required Experience And Skills
- 10+ years combined marketing, sales, market access, or related pharma/biotech experience incl. obesity, metabolism, cardiovascular, and payer experience
- Launch and pipeline strategy experience (preferred)
Preferred Experience And Skills
- Proven launch leadership and business results
- Innovative, collaborative, enterprise communication skills
- Understanding of drug development process (early/late)
- Strategic, patient/customer-centric approach; ability to overcome obstacles
