Lead
- Lead and mentor the CSI&A Immunology team providing business analytics, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Set strategic I&A direction aligned with CBU priorities to drive commercial excellence.
- Serve on the Immunology CBU and CSI&A leadership teams, providing I&A expertise and driving cross-commercial innovation.
Develop
- Translate complex analyses into insights and recommendations for senior leaders (CBU, Chief Commercial Officer, CEO, Board of Directors).
- Develop internal talent (functional and leadership).
- Assess and implement novel methodologies to support brand differentiation, market growth, business impact, and pipeline product potential.
Partnership and Collaboration
- Collaborate with senior leadership on brand strategy and long-term analytics/insights roadmap.
- Maintain partnerships with CBU stakeholders to balance rigor, timelines, and decision influence.
- Lead efforts to crystalize insights informing Immunology CBU strategic plans.
- Standardize adoption of capabilities (e.g., marketing mix, promotional optimization, data science, market structure, patient/treatment flow modeling, analog modeling, ML/AI).
Execute
- Provide strategic recommendations and anticipate future needs.
- Deliver integrated business reviews and I&A summary overviews.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships.
This Role Requires
- 20+ years pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience; prior buy-and-bill experience in highly competitive markets.
- Bachelor’s in data science/public health/statistics/engineering or related; Master’s preferred.
- Expertise in business analytics, customer insights, analog forecasting, market access, competitive intelligence.
- Experience managing I&A groups.
- Knowledge of legal/regulatory environment for commercialization.
- Data industry standards; data visualization and storytelling.
- Influence/communication/negotiation across functions; strong project management and change management.
- Experience balancing rigor and timeliness on I&A projects; strategy-to-execution with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Co-promotes and immunology disease category experience strongly desired.
