Responsibilities:
- Partner with Commercial stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Patient Services, Trade, and Market Access.
- Provide analytics and reporting to evaluate business performance and support leadership.
- Define, refine, measure, and report Commercial KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Lead reporting requirements and enhancements in BI applications; manage rollout and end-user training.
- Serve as subject matter expert for Commercial data (HUB, SP, Veeva, APLD) and ensure consistent utilization; implement new data sources.
- Lead data science projects (e.g., machine learning) to prioritize HCP targets, field activity/messaging, and marketing tactics.
- Optimize field force planning and activity (sales force sizing/alignment, HCP targeting/tiering, call planning).
- Develop and execute Marketing analytics (e.g., marketing mix analysis).
- Improve patient journey data structures/reporting to enable actionable programming and field/HUB/SP efforts.
- Support payer pull-through initiatives with Market Access; improve plan/payor data clarity and connect β€œwins” to programming.
- Lead planning/design/development/execution for LCM/New Product data/analytics needs.
- Support IC with data linkage, business rule development/understanding, and strategic analytics.
- Add/optimize commercial forecasting to IC-compliant needs.
- Partner with Corp IT and Commercial Operations to monitor data/intelligence environment utility and help design/implement data warehouse or intelligence systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, train, assign/direct work, appraise performance, reward/discipline, address complaints.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare; 7+ years in commercial analytics; 5+ years managing a team.
- Knowledge of field sales/marketing (sales force effectiveness, reporting, marketing mix) required.
- Rare disease patient journey knowledge (Market Access, Patient Services, specialty pharmacy, closed distribution networks) preferred.
- Advanced analysis skills with ability to communicate insights to a broader Commercial audience.
- BI platform experience (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau) required; lead stakeholder requirements.
- Strong organizational skills; manage multiple cross-functional projects.
- Proficient MS Office; advanced Excel & PowerPoint required.
