Position Summary
The Events Manager develops and executes Breckenridge Brewery’s events strategy based on annual brand objectives. Leads planning and execution of Breckenridge Brewery events, sponsorships, partnerships, and Tap Room programming; supports High Plains brands (e.g., Pub Beer, 10 Barrel, Widmer Brothers, Hop Valley). Collaborates cross-functionally to manage a dynamic events calendar.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop/lead annual Breckenridge events strategy aligned to brand objectives; partner with High Plains Brand Managers.
- Identify and recommend event/partnership opportunities.
- Oversee/co-ordinate/execute off-site Breckenridge events; support priority High Plains activations.
- Lead end-to-end event planning: talent booking, rentals, staffing, security, permits/licenses, legal compliance; serve as primary on-site contact.
- Travel mainly within Colorado; occasional travel to other priority markets.
- Manage external partner relationships (sponsors, vendors, local partners).
- Liaison between Brand Marketing and Pub teams; coordinate beer releases/beer dinners/small pub events.
- Coordinate community/charity partnerships.
- Own social content for events/activations/partnerships/community.
- Manage ambassadors/agency partners (staffing, scheduling, training, labor budgets).
- Support beer education (Tap Room staff, sales/distributors/key accounts) and employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct post-event evaluations; maintain tracking, recaps, and continuous improvement.
- Own/manages events budget and master calendar; manage assets/vehicles.
- Occasional operational support to pub locations (e.g., delivery/pick-up).

Skills and Abilities (Required/Preferred)
- Experience with local/state/national event regulatory requirements.
- Extensive draft beer system knowledge.
- Self-starter; strong written/verbal communication.
- Comfortable speaking to large groups; strong leadership and collaboration.
- Problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Budget/P&L understanding; strong organizational/analytical skills.
- Beer industry knowledge; experience creating social content.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Marketing/Management (preferred).
- 5+ years event marketing.
- Proven experience leading events end-to-end and managing teams.
- CPG or alcohol industry experience (preferred).

Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing/walking/lifting; safely lift/move kegs, beer cases, and equipment.
- Travel required (avg. ~2 weeks/month); valid driver’s license.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- On-time, on-budget, on-brand event planning/execution.
- Sales volume, brand awareness/conversation, and event-driven pub traffic.
- Budget performance tracking and results vs. objectives.

Compensation
- $70,000–$80,000 base salary + 15% discretionary bonus.
