Position Summary
- Plan, execute, and manage all aspects of medical and marketing events (conferences, symposia, educational programs, speakers’ bureau) while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and promoting the company’s brand to healthcare professionals.

Essential Functions
- Develop event plans aligned with marketing goals, product positioning, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with commercial sales to define target audiences, select event formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid), and determine venues.
- Manage event budgets, including vendor negotiations and cost control.
- Coordinate event logistics (booth design/setup, catering, AV, registration, transportation, on-site staffing).
- Oversee event setup/breakdown with venue and safety compliance.
- Manage speaker recruitment, presentations, and rehearsals.
- Manage contracts/reviews (HCP agreements, vendor setup, PRs/POs) and coordinate with accounting for timely payments.
- Develop event marketing materials (invitations, website content, promotional emails, social/social campaigns).
- Manage pre- and post-event communications (attendee communications, surveys, data analysis).
- Monitor and manage compliance risks; collaborate with sales, marketing, medical affairs, and legal.
- Build relationships with key HCPs, thought leaders, and industry associations.

Education & Experience (Required)
- High School Diploma + 9+ years event planning/execution; or Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years.
- 2+ years event management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Knowledge/Skills (Required)
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing regulations/compliance.
- Project management (budgeting, timelines, risk).
- Communication/interpersonal skills; strong organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with event software/digital tools (e.g., Jira, Concur, Dynamics 365, Monday.com).
- Ability to self-direct; manage multiple concurrent projects; meet deadlines.

Working Environment
- Remote; reside within ~30 minutes of a major airport.
- Travel 60–70%; Monday–Friday (standard hours).
