Role: Regional Business Director (Hematology) – US Oncology

Territory: Mid-Atlantic (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Pittsburgh)

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, develop, and lead a Hematology sales team (Oncology Account Managers) to meet/exceed sales goals while maintaining compliance with field sales activity
- Develop regional business plans and implement regional/national sales strategies and programs
- Use customer-specific approaches to drive high-impact opportunities
- Coach and develop team members on digital and in-selling techniques; build value-based selling across all mediums
- Build a culture that prioritizes patient impact and brand value-driving activities
- Establish relationships with key customers and opinion leaders; incorporate new perspectives
- Collaborate with alliance partners to optimize customer experience, resources, and results
- Evaluate business environment/practice models and maintain internal (matrix team) and external partnering relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders
- Lead recruiting, hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compliance for the sales team
- Execute recruiting/hiring plans aligned to modern sales business performance needs
- Partner to deliver a hybrid-capable learning program (in-person and virtual)
- Understand and navigate product/process across key accounts and large institutions
- Ensure appropriate use of approved promotional programs; communicate competitive market intelligence to brand teams/management
- Analyze region/division performance and build short- and long-term business plans to drive growth
- Participate in meetings; communicate regularly with team, director, peers, partners, and clients to optimize resources and exceed expectations
- Adhere to budgets/financials; ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulatory/legal standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus
- 8+ years pharma/biotech sales experience; 3+ years leadership experience in Oncology
- Preference for Gyn Onc experience
- Proven ability to recruit, hire, develop, and retain top sales talent
- Proven coaching skills; strategic thinking and disciplined execution
- Proven success launching Oncology product(s)
- Knowledge of/ability to navigate commercialization and corporate governance processes
- Strong collaboration/team skills
- Excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Veeva Engage (etc.)
- High professional ethics and sound judgment
- Travel by car and plane required

Compensation (US based): $211,680.00–$317,520.00 salary band; additional compensation may be available (e.g., discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives).
