The Regional Business Director will recruit, hire, develop, and lead a Hematology sales team within Genmab’s US Oncology sales organization. Lead a team of Oncology Account Managers to meet and exceed regional sales goals while maintaining compliance with field sales activity. Develop business plans for the assigned geography and implement regional/national sales strategies and programs while developing team skills.

Territory
Mid-Atlantic (MI, OH, KY, MD, VA, Washington DC, Pittsburgh).

Responsibilities
- Implement customer-specific approaches to deliver high-impact opportunities
- Coach teams on digital and in-selling techniques; foster value-based selling across all mediums
- Empower employees to prioritize actions that drive brand value and make a difference for patients
- Build relationships with key customers and opinion leaders
- Collaborate with alliance partners to optimize customer experience, resources, and results
- Evaluate regional business environment and practice models; manage key internal/external partnering relationships (matrix/in geography)
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, evaluate performance, and ensure compliance for sales teams
- Execute recruiting/hiring plans aligned to modern sales business performance needs
- Partner on training and development for a hybrid (in-person/virtual) operating model
- Understand and navigate product/process across key accounts and large institutions
- Set expectations for approved promotional program utilization
- Communicate competitive market intelligence to brand teams and management
- Analyze region/division performance and develop short- and long-term business plans to drive growth
- Participate in meetings; communicate regularly to optimize resources and exceed customer expectations
- Develop strong culture and team dynamics; adhere to budgets/financials
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulatory/legal standards

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus
- 8+ years pharma/biotech sales experience; 3+ years oncology leadership experience
- Preference for Gyn Onc experience
- Proven ability to recruit, hire, develop, and retain sales talent
- Strong coaching skills; proven success launching Oncology products
- Strategic thinking and disciplined execution
- Knowledge of commercialization and corporate governance processes
- Collaboration/team skills; excellent presentation, organization, and communication
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Veeva Engage (etc.)
- High professional ethics and sound judgment
- Travel by car and plane
