Job Title: District Sales Manager – US Pet Health (Great Lakes)
Location: Remote / Field-Based (Target hubs: Detroit, MI; Grand Rapids, MI; Ann Arbor, MI; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI)
Travel Percentage: 50–75%

Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Lead recruiting, interviewing, and selecting of a high-performing team of representatives.
- Coaching: Provide consistent, high-quality field coaching to enhance selling skills, technical knowledge, and territory management.
- Performance Management: Set clear expectations, monitor progress, provide regular feedback; responsible for performance management and succession planning.
- Culture: Foster a diverse, inclusive, high-engagement team culture aligned with company values.
- Sales Objectives: Achieve specified District sales objectives across all product categories.
- Business Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive district business plans using provided resources.
- Corporate Accounts: Develop and execute business plans with corporate veterinary account headquarters within the district geography.
- Channel Partners: Execute channel partner business plans in coordination with the Sales Manager and Sr. Executive Representative.
- Marketing Implementation: Ensure marketing plans are implemented through representatives to key veterinary hospitals and across channel partners.
- Metrics Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate reporting metrics and business reports.
- Resource Optimization: Strategically place and utilize resources to maximize business results and market share growth.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales, or sales training experience in the companion animal veterinary industry.
- Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship anticipated for H-1B or TN status.

Additional Skills / Preferences
- Strong coaching and leadership skills; ability to influence without authority.
- In-depth knowledge of companion animal veterinary products and the broader Companion Animal Market.
- Excellent interpersonal, speaking, and presentation skills; ability to convey messages and motivate various audiences.
- Ability to make decisions under uncertainty/ambiguity.
- Strong planning and execution skills.
- Preferred: Advanced degree in business or work experience as a sales trainer.
