Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Northeast district (NY, PA, NJ, CT, MA, RI) to achieve annual sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond professionally to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales reps; identify performance gaps early and create improvement plans; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to termination.
- Analyze team/sales performance and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports for performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies/procedures and maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and reps; promote best practices across the district; act as liaison with home office/district to resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change needs; create a high-performing, development-focused team culture.
- Manage assigned operating budgets; cascade direction from Regional Director.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Travel 60โ€“70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record; ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).
