District Manager, Women’s Health – East Coast

Key responsibilities:
- Manage the East Coast district (PA, NJ, MD, Washington DC, VA, NC, SC).
- Develop, enhance, and grow district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; implement district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond professionally and timely; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular, candid, and timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team and sales performance using territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach direct reports for performance and accountability; counsel and support professional development.
- Ensure Company business and sales activities comply with applicable Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; serve as a liaison with home office to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment emphasizing professional development and accountability; eliminate barriers and drive both long-term strategy and immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; ensure direction from Regional Director is cascaded to sales teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience (medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience preferred).
- Ability to travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000 – $222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
