Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Central district includes key markets in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
- Develop, enhance and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; implement the district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain solid customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers and decision makers; respond to customer needs in a timely/professional manner; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid and timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and create plans to address performance gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze and evaluate team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce measures of sales force effectiveness (e.g., reach and frequency; adherence to strategy; tactical implementation; proper use of funds, systems and tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to motivate high performance, ensure accountability, and support professional development.
- Ensure Company business is conducted in compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures; demonstrate high ethical and professional standards with business contacts.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; foster open communication; share “Best Practices” across the district; liaison with home office and district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact for successful implementation.
- Create a high-performing team environment focused on continued professional development and personal accountability; foster a solution-oriented winning vision.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; take direction from Regional Director and ensure it is cascaded and followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience, medical devices, or other healthcare products sales experience (preferred).
- Ability to travel 60–70% (including overnight travel).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000 (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location).
