Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase regional sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geography.
- Implement regional and/or district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers, and decision makers; conduct account reviews as required.
- Respond to customer needs timely and professionally; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid feedback to sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and develop plans to address gaps.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach direct reports to ensure accountability and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies/procedures; report violations to management; demonstrate high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with supervisor/direct reports; share best practices; act as liaison with home office/region to identify and resolve issues.
- Apply organizational change management tools as needed.
- Create a high-performance, solution-oriented team environment; exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Take direction from the Regional Director and cascade/ensure adherence within sales representative teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ years of pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (or combination considered).
- Must live in the applicable geographic district.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare Sales Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Travel: 60β70% (including overnight travel).
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing).
Benefits/Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000 (varies by skills, experience, location).
