Job Description
Coordinate commercial activity within in-field teams to ensure targets are reached for increasing sales within an assigned geography. Create, implement, and communicate a District Sales Plan and monitor progress.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results and agreed-upon targets; maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results.
- Ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution; set tone and pace for business process.
- Lead teams and in-field meetings using a mastery of product and disease-state information and market dynamics (including Managed Care).
- Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members; hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations.
- Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in the business planning process.
- Consistently exemplify AbbVie Ways of Working.
- Drive a personal auto or company vehicle/equipment (as required).

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field (preferred) or relevant/equivalent industry experience (required).
- Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments/therapeutic areas.
- Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and manage performance; develop talent.
- Ability to create a culture of winning and full team engagement.
- Ability to collaborate and influence without authority.
- Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to meet safe driving requirements.
- Satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements for assigned territory (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, required state/city licenses).
