Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and district sales strategy through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond timely; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure business is conducted in compliance with Company policies/procedures and maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; serve as liaison with home office/district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and apply organizational change management tools to manage change impact.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade/ensure compliance with Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
