Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales and marketing direction.
- Manage and execute the district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond timely and professionally; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create plans to address them; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change needs to ensure successful implementation.
- Lead a high-performing, accountable team environment; balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience (preferred); medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience (preferred).
- Travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Benefits/Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
