Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Seattle district includes key markets in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geography.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid feedback; identify performance challenges early and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; promote best practices; liaise with home office/district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing environment focused on professional development, accountability, strategic vision, and immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade and follow direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
