Key responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; implement district sales strategy/business plan.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers, and decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance using sales figures and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach and frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, and proper use of funds, systems, and tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach, counsel, and develop direct reports; ensure accountability and high performance.
- Ensure business activities and sales representatives’ activities comply with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; serve as liaison with home office and district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change impacts; create a high-performing, development-focused, solution-oriented team environment.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets and cascade direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience and/or medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (varies by skills, experience, and location).
