Key responsibilities:
- The Phoenix district includes key markets in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, and Wyoming.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement the district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and develop plans; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance using sales figures and territory data; track and reinforce sales-force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach direct reports to drive performance and accountability; counsel for professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; act as a liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change impacts.
- Maintain a high-performing, accountable team environment; manage fiscal control of allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (equivalency considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficient in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
