Key responsibilities:
- The Phoenix district includes key markets in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, and Wyoming.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback, identify performance challenges early, and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to termination.
- Analyze team/sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness.
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports; ensure accountability and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change needs.
- Create a high-performing environment focused on long-term strategy and immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful District Manager experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience preferred.
- Travel 60–70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing) required.
Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
