Key responsibilities:
- Lead and grow district sales performance across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and district strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early; create plans to address deficiencies; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to termination.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; model high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; liaise with home office and district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply appropriate tools.
- Create a high-performing, accountable team; drive both long-term strategy and immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; ensure marketing/standards directives are cascaded to sales teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.

Preferred qualifications:
- Prior pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.

Required skills/requirements:
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation may vary by skills, experience, and location).
