Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales and marketing direction.
- Manage and implement the district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach, counsel, and develop direct reports; ensure accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director/direct reports; share “best practices” across the district; liaise with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Apply organizational change management tools as needed.
- Build a high-performing team environment; eliminate barriers; balance strategic focus with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience (medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience preferred).
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record; authorization to drive company leased/authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
