Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geography.
- Implement district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision influencers/decision makers; respond timely to customer needs.
- Conduct account reviews for key customers; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales performance using territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness measures (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies/procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; act as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change impacts.
- Create a high-performing team environment focused on professional development and results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (or equivalent combination).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
