Key responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geographic area.
- Implement the district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early; create plans to address performance gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team/sales performance and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports; maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure business is conducted in compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; liaise with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and apply change management tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing environment focused on professional development, accountability, and immediate results alongside long-term strategy.
- Exercise fiscal control of allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
- Travel 60–70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
