Key responsibilities:
- The Dallas district includes key markets in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and the district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain solid customer relationships; respond timely/professionally; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance using sales figures and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness measures (e.g., reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports; maximize performance and professional development.
- Conduct business in compliance with company policies; ensure sales reps comply; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices”; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; drive immediate results with a long-term strategic view.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction to sales teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (or equivalent combination of experience/education).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience, medical devices, or other healthcare product sales experience (preferred).
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000.
