Field-based District Manager, Eye Care Surgical (Xen) โ Atlantic Coast District Territory (reside near Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Richmond, VA; Washington DC; or Baltimore, MD).
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to promote AbbVieโs Xen Gel stent in the refractory glaucoma market.
- Oversee district sales performance (growth, market share) within expense guidelines.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage Account Consultants; provide coaching, counseling, and performance management.
- Lead succession planning and team development continuity.
- Execute sales/marketing plans; act as an area expert on product strategy and supporting initiatives.
- Manage key physician/practice/account relationships; implement account management plans and optimize resources.
- Develop and implement district procedures/practices to achieve objectives.
- Lead needs-based account selling; support KOL promotional programs.
- Support sales and meet/exceed district business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree preferred; MBA preferred.
- 5โ7+ years sales leadership and healthcare/buy-and-bill/device experience required.
- Business analysis/planning skills; excellent judgment/decision-making.
- Ability to influence without authority; articulate scientific/therapeutic aspects.
- Proven ability to deliver candid feedback, manage performance, and develop talent.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to travel 75%+ and attend overnight meetings/training.
- Ability to drive personal/company vehicle.
- Satisfy all HCIR credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and required licenses).
