Responsibilities:
- Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results and agreed-upon targets, maximizing market/segment/team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results.
- Ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution; set the tone and pace for business process and organization.
- Lead teams and champion in-field meetings by presenting a market/franchise/business point of view; develop mastery of product and disease-state information and relevant market dynamics, including Managed Care.
- Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance skills and elevate team performance; hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations.
- Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in the business planning process and consistently exemplify the company’s Ways of Working.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field (preferred) or relevant/equivalent industry experience (required).
- Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance.
- Proven District Manager leadership: in good standing with safety and compliance standards; minimum four years pharmaceutical sales management experience (external management experience may be considered); currently meeting performance expectations; demonstrates leadership attributes.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making; ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
- Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback, manage performance, and develop talent for promotional opportunities.
- Ability to create a culture of winning and full team engagement.
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to gain/maintain entry to assigned territory facilities (background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses may be required).
- Driving: drive personal auto/company vehicle or powered equipment; valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
